The Adam Millichip Foundation was founded in November 2010 and has one goal. To provide financial support and assistance to disabled people who wish to participate in sports, with the aim of improving the quality of their lives.
With the tragic death of his Brother Adam in 2007, Stuart Millichip wanted to do something in his memory. In May 2010 he and 3 other committee members founded the Adam Millichip Memorial Golf Challenge, which in it's first year raised over 7000 pounds, which was donated to 2 local charities.
After the huge success of this project, the quiet whisper of more became a reality. Shortly after the golf day, Stuart approached the rest of the committee with the idea of a fully registered charity in memory of his brother. The Adam Millichip Foundation had been born.
In 2011 we have the Second Annual Adam Millichip Memorial Golf Challenge, which this time is in aid of just the Adam Millichip Foundation. With an increased capacity of 50 teams of 4 already sold out, playing at Cleobury Mortimer Golf Club on 6th May 2010, we aim to smash the 7000 we made in 2010.
The 4 founding trustees of the Adam Millichip Foundation. Stuart Millichip, Adams Brother, is the chairman while Mark Benbow, Mark Fish and Paul Millichip are the other 3 trustees. Claire Owen is the charity secretary. We are a registered charity in England and Wales under the regulation of the Charity Commission with registered number 1138721.
